Identity for a film group that promotes independent Latin American film. The name and the visuals are taken from a Jorge Luis Borges short story titled “The Aleph” where past, present and future are seen clearly, a metaphor for the mission statement of the organization.
Brochure for an organization that promotes and brings independent Latin America film to the United States. The brochure was used as a vehicle for fund raising as well as public awareness.
Takes its name from Argentine author Jorge Luis Borges’ short story “The Aleph”, where the main character is invited to observe an aleph, a point in space that magically contains all other points, past, present and future of the history of earth on the nineteenth step of a basement staircase in a building about to be demolished in Buenos Aires.

With the advent of digital cameras and the elimination of the Communist censoring board, a more honest and personal view of the life on the island can be seen for the first time in decades.
